Charles Spearman's idea of a gifted school would be a bunch of different classes all moving as a unit to and from classes. Every different set of students are together because they all have around the same g factor. He assumes that if you should be in an advanced math class, then you should also be in an advanced English class. Charles believes in general intelligence, which groups intelligence into one thing, you are either smart, average or not gifted. With general intelligence you can't say you are good at one subject and bad at the other, if you are good at one it means you are good at all of them, to an extent.
Howard Gardner believes in the idea of multiple intelligence, which your strengths may be in one subject but not the other. Howard's school shall provide a wide variety of classes and would not limit someone because of the strength or weakness in another class. Students will be able to pick the right level and variant of a subject to help them succeed in school. Since Howard believes in eight different types of intelligence, there will be a plethora of subjects and courses to choose from. Balance is an important part of multiple intelligence, and Howard's school will help you fill in your weaknesses with an assortment of courses.
Robert Sternberg also believes in multiple intelligence, but instead of 8 different types, Robert has only three main ones. Only one of three types of intelligence is actually taught in schools. Robert's schools wouldn't just include regular math, science, English, and social studies courses, but he would also include many art classes and ways to experience novel situations. Also many classes that practice practical intelligence that deal with everyday tasks. His school will challenge the whole brain to actively think in not just normal school courses but will explore life where you will need all your senses.
The perfect gifted school will have a free range of courses to choose from. Not just your basic math and English, but philosophy, abstract thinking, and practical real-life skills necessary to live on your own, based on Howard's and Robert's multiple intelligence. You will not be bound to certain classes just because you are on a certain level, but you will be suggested to take certain classes because of your overall intelligence, based on all general and multiple intelligence theories. You will be able to find yourself and see who you are. Tests and new activities and schedules will be sprung on you to see how you will react to different novel experiences, based on Robert's Creative Intelligence. A plethora of sports and clubs will be offered to build a healthy body and a large social life to improve your social skills and emotional intelligence, based on Howard's Interpersonal Aptitude.
